Episode 255 - Ball of Fire (1941)

Gary Cooper leads a group of professors attempting to complete their decade-long project of writing an encyclopedia.  Their world is hilariously turned upside down when a vivacious nightclub performer (Barbara Stanwyck) becomes a key part of the project.  Directed by Howard Hawks.  Written by Billy Wilder and Charles Brackett.

Goldie Hawn lands her dream job as a high school football coach in this fun sports comedy co-starring Swoosie Kurtz, Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson, Mykelti Williamson, Robyn Lively, and Nipsey Russell.

Episode 253 - Angels With Dirty Faces (1938)

Not to be confused by the 'Home Alone' parody, this classic gangster film follows the lives of two childhood friends who take complete opposite paths in their lives.  Starring James Cagney, Pat O'Brien, Ann Sheridan, and The Dead End Kids.  Directed by Michael Curtiz.

Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas are legendary train robbers released from prison after 30 years and try to adapt to modern society in this forgotten comedic gem!  Co-starring Eli Wallach, Dana Carvey, and Charles Durning.

A terrific film noir starring Claude Rains as the host of a popular crime radio program, who gets caught up in a real-life thriller of his own.  Directed by Michael Curtiz.

Episode 250 - Three Men and a Baby (1987)

The title of the film sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but 'Three Men and a Baby' ended up being the top grossing film of 1987!  Starring Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson as three bachelors attempting to take care of a baby girl. Directed by Leonard Nimoy.

Episode 249 - 10 to Midnight (1983)

A Cannon films "classic"!  Charles Bronson is a non-nonsense detective attempting to catch a Ted-Bundy-esque serial killer.  Co-starring Gene Davis, Lisa Eilbacher, Andrew Stevens, and Wilford Brimley.  Directed by J. Lee Thompson.

A nice blend of Police Academy and Cheech & Chong, Super Troopers is a raucous comedy brought to you by The Broken Lizard comedy troupe about a small group of Vermont state troopers trying to save their station.
